Training for patients and their relatives

One of the most fundamental aims of our association is to raise awareness about hematology and to ensure that patients and their relatives get the most accurate and up-to-date information. For this purpose, we work with the most respected international associations in the field to provide Turkish content and organize joint meetings. For this purpose, the web site of association published on www.hematoloji.org.tr address has been established and a number of Turkish booklets have been prepared with dedicated sites for specific diseases depending on this main site.

Our association has information sites on Facebook and Twitter for our patients.

Nursing Training

Nurse training is very important for our association. For the first time in our country, the nursing congress in the field of hematology was organized by our Association. So far, 8 nursing congresses have been organized. The content and progress of the meetings continues to grow every year.

Assistant and Clinician Training

Continuous medical education (CME) for our Association is very important. For this reason, we have been making great efforts in this field in the last 10 years.

Hematology Academy Platform that is published on http://www.hematolojiakademisi.org address has been establihed for clinician training and our most competent domestic and foreign physicians have been able to speak about hematology. This site contains details such as the first Turkish Hematology Atlas, discussion environment, slide sharing, online books, and chemotherapy protocols.

Apart from our congresses, there are face to face trainings especially for our assistants.

Congress

Every year our Association holds a " Euroasian Hematology Oncology" meeting. The main language of this congress is English and it is gradually becoming one of the biggest conferences in the world with many domestic and foreign participation. More than 500 participants from more than 40 countries came to the latest congress. The president of the Congress and the majority of the regulatory body are made by an international commission. The Congress is credited by EBAH. The report from the Congress is published by Leukemia Research Journal.
